In this initial conversation, we will discuss ideas, inspiration, budget, and timeline. We will also address any questions you may have on our process. This information will be used to create a Design Proposal. This is a great route for someone looking for complete design and installation services
I also offer a more casual route with short in-person or virtual design sessions for someone looking for some design help but are looking to complete the construction and purchasing on their own. This is perfect for someone who is just looking for a little bit of guidance.
Concept
This phase sets the foundation for a smooth and successful project. We’ll begin by reviewing any existing floor plans and discussing the overall scope, goals, and vision. It’s important to me that we’re aligned from the start, so this step includes clarifying expectations, identifying priorities, and outlining any initial considerations or constraints.
Once we’ve established a clear direction, I’ll begin developing preliminary plans. Alongside that, I’ll create a detailed project budget to provide a transparent view of costs and help guide decision-making.
Project Development
During this phase, we’ll meet to review the proposed design in detail. This includes updated mood boards, material samples, and curated selections that bring the vision into clearer focus. I’ll walk you through the design concepts, explain the reasoning behind each choice, and gather your feedback to ensure everything aligns with your goals and preferences.
From there, we’ll refine the design together, making any necessary adjustments to ensure it feels just right. Once finalized, I’ll compile a comprehensive design package—complete with drawings, specifications, and selections—so we’re fully prepared for the next phase of execution.
Project Execution
Once your design package is approved, we’ll begin turning your design into a reality. I’m here to make this phase feel straightforward and manageable, acting as your point of contact with contractors and vendors throughout the process.
